By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.

2. Eligibility

4. Payment, Billing, and Subscriptions

4.1 Merchant of Record

Payments on Online Flashcard Maker are processed by Creem (creem.io), our authorized merchant of record and reseller. Creem — not Online Flashcard Maker — appears as the seller on your card or bank statement and is solely responsible for billing, collecting applicable taxes, and providing payment support.

4.2 Free Plan

  • Limited features and storage
  • Access to basic flashcard creation and study tools
  • Credit-based system with monthly allocation

4.3 Pro Plan (Subscription)

  • Monthly or annual subscription options
  • Enhanced features and increased credit allocation
  • Priority support and advanced tools

Subscription fees are charged in advance at the start of each billing cycle at the then-current price. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan) until you cancel. You authorize Creem to charge your payment method for each renewal.

4.4 Lifetime Plan

  • One-time payment for permanent access
  • All Pro features included
  • No recurring charges

4.5 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or via the Creem customer portal linked in your purchase receipt. Cancellation stops all future renewals. Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Services and any remaining credits until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; no further charges will be made after that point.

4.6 Refunds and Cancellation

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please review that policy before purchasing. One-time purchases (Lifetime Plan) are non-recurring; refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy.

4.7 Price Changes

Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Services after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through the Services ("User Content"). User Content may include:

  • Flashcard decks and individual cards
  • Images, audio, and other media files
  • Study notes and materials
  • Comments and interactions

5.2 License to Your Content

By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to:

  • Use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and publish your content
  • Display and distribute your content in connection with the Services
  • Create derivative works for the purpose of providing the Services
  • This license terminates when you delete your content, except for content shared with others

5.3 Public Content

Content you share publicly or with other users:

  • Will be accessible to other users of the Services
  • May be used by others in accordance with the sharing permissions you set
  • Cannot be completely removed if others have copied or saved it

5.4 Prohibited Content and Activities

You agree not to create, upload, share, or submit content or prompts that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory
  • Contains personal information of others without consent
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities
  • Constitutes spam, unauthorized advertising, or commercial solicitation
  • Depicts or solicits content involving minors in a sexual or harmful manner
  • Facilitates illegal activity, fraud, or money laundering

You agree not to:

  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or accounts
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization
  • Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Submit prompts designed to circumvent safety filters or generate harmful output

6. AI-Powered Features and Transparency

6.1 AI Flashcard Generation

Online Flashcard Maker uses artificial intelligence to generate flashcard content from user-provided prompts and documents. The AI text generation is powered by DeepSeek (via DeepSeek API). The AI image generation feature uses models from third-party providers including OpenAI (DALL-E), Replicate (including Flux and Stable Diffusion models from Black Forest Labs, Stability AI, Ideogram, Luma, and Recraft), Fireworks AI, and Fal AI (including Flux-based and Ideogram models).

6.2 Independent Tool

Online Flashcard Maker is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with DeepSeek, OpenAI, Replicate, Fireworks AI, Fal AI, or any of the underlying model providers. Use of their names is solely to identify the AI services used.

6.3 AI Content Disclaimer

AI-generated flashcard content is produced automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it for academic, professional, or other purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

6.4 Content Moderation

All generation prompts submitted through our Services are screened by automated content moderation systems before being sent to any AI model. Prompts that are flagged or denied by our safety systems will not be processed and the generation request will be rejected. This screening is applied to protect users and to comply with the acceptable-use policies of our payment and AI service providers. We do not store or share screened prompts beyond what is required to operate the moderation service.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, functionality, software, and design, are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7.2 Trademarks

"Online Flashcard Maker" and associated logos are our trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.

9. Service Availability and Modifications
